Going Silver

Hello lovelies! Eeep I'm so excited!! I decided a little while back that I wanted to change up my hair and add some different color to it since the same old blonde gets a little boring after a while and well.. I went silver! There are a bunch of blue highlights in there as well as result of the silver hair dye. Going silver either results in having a blue or purple tint to it depending on what dye you use.

It's kind of a funny story. I was getting my hair done yesterday and it actually took a little longer than expected and I had to rush to work so I ended up leaving with wet hair to get there on time! (My hair dresser just put my hair in a braid so it wasn't dripping everywhere)
It was a total surprise to me later what it looked like since I was waiting for it to dry, but I am so so happy with how it turned out!

As I wash it and tone it with purple shampoo it may look different and as it fades, but I'm having a lot of fun with some color in my hair!

Thank you to my hairdresser Kendall for making my hair fun!!

Fall Things

Hello lovelies! Today's post is going to be a mixture of three different things I want to share with y'all!

First would be my outfit I wore the other day that consisted a lot of well, gray. I'm loving this long gray lace cardigan from Cabi. Definitely going to a be a piece I will wear more this fall! Since it's still kind of warm here I just wore a gray tank top, my trusty American Eagle jeggings & my heeled gray boots that I got last fall.

Next would just be something that people who've been to my house while I have the record player going would know that I love my Fleetwood Mac Rumours album! By far one of the greatest albums of all time! I feel like having music playing in your house makes it feel more homey & I love having the record player going while I'm cleaning or playing card games with friends & family.

And third would be my first ever Apple Pie that I baked! And not to brag, but not only does it look delicious, but it was delicious! 'tis the season for apple pie, am I right? I'm probably going to be making a bunch more apple related things over the next couple of months.

Also if you guys would be interested in me posting more baking/cooking posts, let me know! I'm going to try to cook more food & bake more treats this fall/winter and I'd love to share pictures of what I've made!

September Fourth

Yesterday's outfit was inspired & highly anticipated for the autumn weather by the bit of cool-ish weather we had the other night. Assuming it would be the same I dressed for more on the autumn side but was sadly mistaken when I remembered its only early September and here in the south it's still pushing 80's & 90's Fahrenheit on the average day.
So during the day this wasn't the best outfit choice, but once early evening came and the sun was going away this outfit was perfect.

My shirt is one of my new favorite pieces and it is from this store called Dressin' Gaudy.
My jeans are jeggings from American Eagle, my boots are from JustFab and my sunglasses are from ZeroUV
My hat is from Target, my necklace is from the Dressing Your Truth Store and my bracelets are Lokai & one from a store on the boardwalk in Maryland.

What are some fashion pieces you are super excited to wear this autumn? Let me know in the comments!

Maryland Trip - Part 1

Hello friends!
I know it's been a while since my last post and that is because I just got back from a trip to Maryland with my sister!
We went to visit some friends & we had so so much fun! We had been wanting to go on that trip since January, so we were very excited when we finally got to go!

August is one of the best months to go to Ocean City Maryland since the ocean water is the warmest and there aren't as many people there. (still lots of tourists, but not as many as June)

The first day we went to the beach and got to play around in the water for a while and eat lunch, then headed off to the boardwalk to look at all the shops. We were told by our friends that we HAD to try Polish Water Ice and I'm really happy I did because it was SO yummy!! Abby got watermelon & I got pinocolada with custard.

Second day we woke up early to ride bikes up and down the boardwalk. The boardwalk itself is around 2 miles long so it was quiet the little ride. We stopped at Malibu's Surf Shop (one of my favorite stores on the boardwalk) and then into a thrift shop down one of the streets, where I actually found a Malibu's shirt for wait for it.... One dollar! There is a rack of clothes outside the shop for a dollar and I found a Malibu's, Panama Jack & a RVCA shirt, each only for a dollar! I love finding good thrift shop deals!

For lunch we stopped at their families favorite place to go which is called Soprano's Pizza, which I HIGHLY recommend if you are ever there. So good!!
Afterwards we went back to the beach to swim. Which we may have been out there a little too long cause my face got a bit red and my sister got a pretty gnarly sunburn!

My friend Asher & I of course had to take an updated "Ash Square" picture. This one was taken in front of a really cool old house that is over run with vines and flowers. There were so many places there that were super photogenic!

That's all for my part 1 of our trip, stay tuned for part 2!
