Happy Holidays from the Addams Family

Hello lovelies! As mentioned in my previous post, here are some of the photographs that we took for our family Thanksgiving this past week. It was such a fun time getting to see everyone and all smush together in one place for a fun filled couple of days.
I always get really happy when we all get together since it doesn't happen too often. I think the last time was 2 Thanksgivings ago? So pretty much it's been too long!

We also welcomed two new members to the family, Patricia and her son Alexander! I'm very excited to have a new Aunt & Cousin and getting to spend a couple days getting to know them and spend time with them!

Most of us arrived on Wednesday evening. After making an accidental detour to Tulsa, we arrived somewhere around 9pm. All day Thursday was spent visiting, eating lots of super yummy food, sharing what we are all thankful for and having my Aunt Kay & Granddad arrive. Which is always super exciting to get to visit with them!

Friday we went out to eat at this cute little southern eatery & we went into a secondhand store right next to it, which I quiet enjoyed since thrift shops and secondhand stores are some of my favorites. You find such cool pieces in there & you most likely won't run into anyone wearing it since it's older clothing haha
Then later after that we took all these photos and sat around the house playing card games, laughing and eating all the left over desserts (we had like 12 pies thanksgiving day!! so there were lots of leftovers!)

Saturday was our last day there, we cleaned up, got our stuff packed up and visited a bit more before we all took off our separate ways.
To my Family who is probably reading this, I love you all so much & hopefully we will get to visit again super super soon!!

with love,

Thanksgiving OOTD

Hello friends! Here is the outfit that I wore on Thursday for our Family Thanksgiving at my Grandma's house in Texas! It's funny, every time I visit Texas I remember how much I love & miss it!
It was such a fun couple days visiting, getting to catch up and share good laugh's with everyone. I am going to have a whole post just full of lots of pictures that we took together and talking more about the week. So I'll just leave you with that little bit!

I just got this gray long sleeve dress from Old Navy the other day during their early Black Friday sale, along with these ADORABLE ear muffs, which I am now referring to as ear muffins, because well... I want to. Haha!
They are both two of my new favorite fashion pieces which you will most likely be seeing a lot more of in the near future!

brother + sister style: jordan's

Hello friends!
I've done fun segments here on my blog in which I titled "Sister Style" that showcases mine & my sister Abby's style, but I've never done one with my older brother Alex! I thought this would be fun to do, especially since we both have matching Jordan's and while packing for our family Thanksgiving trip we decided to bring matching outfits. It was so fun getting to dress up like "Twins" since most of our younger years people assumed we were! Be sure to let me know if you liked this type of outfit post & we may do some more in the future!

Winter Breeze

Hello lovelies! Well, the cold front finally blew in and boy I'll tell ya.. It's COLD! I actually had to change the bottom half of this outfit before I went out into jeans and boots because the wind was blowing so much it was just a bit too cold for me!
But whenever there is a nice day that the wind isn’t blowing too much I will definitely be re-visiting this outfit.
First of all, can we talk about how adorable this burgundy plaid shawl is?? It’s from Talbots and my first time visiting the store was on a shopping adventure to Southlake Townsquare last month, but I had decided to walk around and think about it before I actually bought it. But by the time I made my way back to the store it was closed! We have a Talbots here in our town so my Grandma and I had went and I showed her it but since it was a bit pricey I was hoping it would go on sale. And sure enough a couple weeks later online it had gone on sale and she had surprised me with it! Was not expecting that at all, but I’m so excited and grateful that she did that! So thank you again if you’re reading this!

It is so perfect if you are wanting basically a stylish blanket you can wear. I wore it tonight to see a musical and it was amazing! I was so warm and comfy, I’m surprised I hadn’t got something like this years ago!
Underneath I’m wearing a mauve long sleeve from Dressing Your Truth and gray skirt from Kohls.
My blush heels are from Shoe Carnival and my adorable braided headband wrap is from American Eagle. (similar one HERE)

Happy Sunday lovelies! I hope your weekend was well! Yesterday my mom & I went shopping out around town and I got a couple new skirts (this plaid one being one of them) and some much needed new tights. It wasn't until I put the outfit on that I definitely felt some Gossip Girl/Clueless vibes going on.. Anyone else agree?

Oddly enough I find myself wearing more skirts & dresses in the fall/winter months rather than the summer. I've been like this for years now! I think maybe it's just because I like getting to pair them with tights.
I already have a couple different outfits picked out on how to style skirts for the fall/winter months, so those should be up within the next couple of weeks! (You can Subscribe to my blog to get updates on when I post about it!) Or of course, I'm always posting over on my Twitter & Instagram!)

What are some fall/winter pieces you are super excited to wear?? Comment below!

Jumpman Kicks

Hey y'all! Here's a quick OOTD for you before I head off to dance. If I haven't mentioned it already, I LOVE these shoes! I don't think I can wear them and not feel incredibly cool. Plus they make any outfit look extra cool so it's a win win here in my book. Definitely making me want to start an Air 1 collection.. Maybe one day haha

Also I am going to start making some more hair tutorials soon, so if you have any specific requests on what I should do let me know in the comments! I'm thinking Scream Queens maybe? I just finished season 1 and I love it!

Blue & Pink

Hey y'all! At the point of me writing this blog post it is not even noon and I've already had 3 cups of coffee and am about to go make myself a cuppa tea. (Early mornings call for lots of caffeine??)
The clouds came out, there's a bit of a chill in the air and I decided it would be the perfect day to take some outfit pictures & film an OOTD. But whilst I was outside I was in a bit of a hurry as the weather said it was supposed to rain. Luckily it did not and I beat the weather just by a bit.
I love this outfit so much! It is a good solid mix of two of my favorite colors and this outfit is not just cute but also incredibly comfy. And if I had a dollar for every time I mentioned on here that my main point of fashion is to make it cute but comfy I could buy all the comfy clothes in the world! haha
Wearing this coat is like walking around wearing a comforter, it's perfect!

Tunes With Ashley: Autumn

Hello friends!
If you've ever watched one of my "Favorites" videos on my YouTube channel, you would know that I always mention the music that I am currently loving.
I have SO many playlists at this point. Depending on my mood, drastic genre change or different decades and I decided that I would start sharing them on here!
One of my most played is titled "yellow flowers". I usually change up the playlist every couple of weeks but the name of the playlist always stays the same.
Really depending on the season will depend on how this playlist sounds. In the spring/summer it had a very sunshine-road trip vibe. Right now it's more autumnal. I do already have a separate playlist for Winter that will make its debut within the net month.

What are some of your favorite songs you're currently listening to?
